Allegedly Stubborn

What it takes change something. Well change is not a thing that comes easily. Every one has certain inclinations or preferences according to which he/she is destined to become a unique identity. Change Management by far is the single most concept which has to be mastered and is taught with great importance in premier B- Schools.
While its easy to change systems and processes; its hard to change people. In the next upcoming blogs, i shall delve with much emphasis on the same. There are certain techniques, which when employed can administer a predetermined change in the behavior of the subject.
So follow this series closely!

EK jhamana guzar gaya....

College hostel mates... no matter how much is the interval of inactivity, its always fun to talk to them. When joy is on a roll the time gap condenses into seconds and it feels like that next day i have to go to college.
Seriously amidst all other complicated relationships this is the most simple and straightward relationship of all, with any hidden ajendas. Now that i have time and right mind set to get involved with my friends, i wont loose this opportunity. Here i go!

What goes around, comes around.

Its definitely quite naive to say sweeping statements like politics is a dirty game and all politicians are corrupt. I understand this. But when some sections of english media tries to patronize me by saying that one who say such statements cannot be the crusader for anti-corruption movement on account of he being not a metro person or he being unable to contemplate the fact that other learned people will use him to fulfill their own private interests then i am not amused.
The rural person in the context is Anna Hazare and the allegations are put up recently by Digvijay Singh. Karan Thapar conducts a very biased interview to malign the sanctity of the movement and thus filling the mind of a busy working common man with skepticism.
When Sonia Gandhi has already made it clear that she supports Lokpal Bill then
why Kapil Sibal and Diggy has problems with it. Is this a case of poor leadership or a well thought political drama. What ever it is, let this be very clear that if now Government still thinks that people will be easily fooled then they are inviting a big trouble.
Anna had candidly said the right thing- if he would have continued for the fasting for 3 more days the Government would have already been in soup. So Sonia ji stop giving 'supari' to your unproductive blabber mouths to play these games.

Vital Signs

Lately India has faced issues related to Governance wherein the state was constantly reprimanded by legislature for discordant policies adopted by the Govt. in various matters.
Spectrum allocation is one such issue. Telecom Ministry has been constantly misusing the power to sell highly profitable bands to corporate powerhouses on unrevised rates over the years. The argument they use is very interesting. They say its for growth of sector for widespread usage of the technology.
So its not surprising when Kapil Sibal states that there has been no loss to the state in the recent alleged scam while SC thinks otherwise.
Lets quickly get to the crux of the matter without drawing conclusions. Firstly India being a diverse state with highly varied stakeholders any policy adopted cannot be completely right or completely wrong. Reservation, naxalism, privatisation issues can be stated in the support.
Secondly, Political will to make changes is very low owing to centralised decision making which is what is followed in practical in our bureaucracy. So this is the reason why no one gives a shit what happens in nagaland or for that matter anything that doesnt affect masses on a whole.
Thus i believe we cant have a indian version of jasmine revolution here.

Hum aah bhi bharte hain to ho jaate hain badnaam, aur wo katl bhi karte hain to charcha nahi hota...........

Its all about passing the buck when it comes to take action. And when something is done by an honest person which is just over the line, system reminds him to be morally correct and upright. So when he looks all over to remind them how the things were started in the first place they don't even care to discuss the same. This is gist of the matter in case of present deadlock over political activism in our country.
We are manipulated this way; our actions are controlled and so do our thoughts. Its time that we grow over those wretched things. Its a shame when we see the youth to be engulfed in a fearful environment wherein he or she just tries to hang on whether its approaching life or career.
We must recall what Swami Vivekanand said- Be fearless- the Youth of the Nation.

hazare

Haraze's movement to counter corruption in inform of actualization of Lokpal bill with more common people representation has now become more of peoples' movement. Delhi's Jantar Mantar has become a center for mass level initiative for change. At this point it becomes important to define the environment which is responsible for such a thing to occur.
2011 has witnessed a series of allegations on  Govt. ranging for Adarsh society scam to Black money scam. Mass movements galore in middle east wherein people resisted inadequacy on the part of administration to address governance issues.Japan's tsunami and its efforts thereafter to tackle the crisis; their team work is important to mention in this context. A group can bring about a change under a proper leadership. People can manage changes which are important for functioning of a system.
Hazare is a apt leader to lead a mass example. His style of leadership is to lead-by-example. He has a squeaky clean image and is highly motivated. His efforts for RTI act cannot be ignored. He has a character and is dogged in his efforts.
On the contrary we have our PM and i am alleging him as a weak leader but one thing is for sure. That he simply lacks courage to initiate a change. He had chances to do exactly that but just let it slip. His press conference can be stated as a example here wherein he just passed on the buck to other bureaucrats and explicitly stated his inability to take necessary action. In his age and career he has nothing to loose if he becomes a change agent and become a whistle blower. He had a chance to earn a reputation for himself. But its never too late, so if he gets to read this, may its the time.

Delhi University

I check results for DU results for gd pi tonight for its HR program casually; especially owing to just 30 seats for all india recruitments and high cut offs. Plus a fees of just 18000 for 2 years for MBA is hard to find with such a reputation.
So i check the merit list and got info that some 150 students are called for counselling.
To my disbelievement i cant imagine how i felt when i saw my name in top 30. Euphoria- party time- hey GOD thanks man, thanks to all my well wishers.
Muuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

Just slow down please,

Just slow down please,

Just slow down.

Such a rush

Look at all the people going after money.

Far to many people looking for their money.

Everybody's out there, trying to get money.

Why can't you just tell me,

Try to get money, rush.

Such a rush.

They all rush.
