Eduucation- foood for thought

Today i had a chat with my friend about the present educational system. Its inconsistencies have always giving me creeps ever since i coudn't understand the point of cramming the cronology of dates in history in 7th grade.I liked physics and maths solely because the teachers were cute ladies. To please them i would be uptodate in the class , funny when interacting and behave like a stud. Now i guess it never mattered to them and i big a idiot i was . However that was a good motivation which fetched me good marks though.
The physics teacher (we used to call them teacher and not mam!) kinda asked me once why you score a bit less in the theory class inspite of doing extraordinarily in class. How i could tell her that if she was right beside me i could have scored a 100 for her .
That was about when i was too young, later when i serously began to question things more emphatically i came across a teacher who kinda changed my life. Fr. Davis taught me to "think freely" . He used to say that to be a civilized person you just dont have to wear cloth , eat food and have sex. That is something a pet-dog could do. He urged me to question everything even if it is stated in the textbooks.
But the kind of system which we follow now is a caricature of the basic tenets on which it was designed , like wisdom , leadersip and a quest for knowlege.
The system now we see is more like a distorted and obsolete form of Britishers' legacy. It kills the creativity and encourage muggism.
How one can apply the knowledge untill he know about the life.Ancient mythology tells that students earliar were taught the art of living rather that just mingling with details.
When Dronacharya asked Arjun about the target he precisely knew what the target is and what he is after.
Can we expect the same confidence and enthusiasm when it comes to 'apply' the things learned. No there is almost no connectivity in the education and the life.
Thus we see that some of the well educated families are the ones who commit the most shameful crimes such as dowry, woman's subjucation and abuse to name a few.
The root cause of terrorism was considered to be illiteracy, but investigation agencies later found that there is also a 'technical wing' in the terrorist organisations who sends the threat mails.
osama bin laden is a civil engineer.
Lets see the middle class family and understand the cause of their grievences. Young people after that 10+2 narrows down their career goals to either engineering or medical.Their is seriosly a mind vaccuum which is created which stops them to even think , selfanalyse and introspect(atmavishleshan).
Because if that is done the abusrd realities will fall on their faces. Therefore these ambiguities will only add to the thus generated chaos. What if their heart tells them to go for movie making, animation, gaming ,geology, tourism, journalism, painting etc. "No these non parallel activies never pays" these are the words of the oldies.I dont know who made them the yardstick setters when it come to deciding the life of a young man or woman.
Thus when this young generation from middle class go for the same kind of education as demanded by marked forces and not enlightened minds they fall prey to the money-grobbing parasites who suck their blood in exchange for so called 'affable environment' to work in.
This creates a dissatisfaction from within and a mask of lavish life on the outside.Again they dont just want to come out of that dream. Because they know if they look inside there be a chilling sense of rendezvous with truth on the face.
To hide it some opt for MBA again because of a simple notion "follow the herd to be safe".Barring a few exceptions every one has the same story.
Those exceptions becomes leaders and probably this is the reason that there are only a few leaders and a mob of followers.

Seriously one would like to sidetrack my opinion as completely farfetched and pessimistic, but i would say that its the high time now that we INTROSPECT AND ACT. PS RAHUL
